I really hate to have to do this, but unfortunately, there are always a few bad apples who spoil it for everyone else.
-With the exception of adoptions and banner button links to other sites, almost all of the graphics found on these pages are copyrighted-to ME, unless otherwise noted. Do NOT take them and claim them as your own.
I have seen some of my dolls frankendolled on some sites. This does NOT make me happy!
When you adopt something from my site, PLEASE do NOT direct link-meaning simply link the image to my site. Save it to your computer, and then upload it to your website. Otherwise, you steal my bandwidth and make it harder for my site to load. I understand that some people are new to the internet and don't understand this-I myself was one of them. But now you know, so there's no excuse! ;)
-You may adopt my dolls or blinkies, provided you
follow these simple rules:
1. Do NOT take them and claim them as your own
2. Do NOT take them and edit them and claim as your
own-this
is called "Frankendolling" and it is WRONG.
3. With dolls, provide a link back to my site and give
credit. With blinkies, it's not necessary-although it IS nice!
4. Do NOT display them on a hateful site-(meaning a
site that
is racist, bigoted, hateful, homophobic, sexist, pornographic or meant
to cause trouble)
5. Do NOT take them for a "Doll Collection Agency" type
site.
I've seen this before-people start adopting dolls, and while they give
credit in their links, they do not credit individual dolls. They
offer other people's dolls up for adotpion-and ask that you link to
THEIR
site, and not the creator's. THIS IS WRONG PEOPLE!!!
6. Do not use my dolls to make graphics, tubes,
brushes-etc.
Requests-as far as requests go, because I only have
so
much time, I do not do requests unless it's for someone I know, or if
it
is something I would make anyways. (a Titanic doll, for
example).
And even then, it depends. You may ask, but that does not
guarantee
I will make a doll for you-I have enough of my own to do and I'm still
job hunting. Please do not be hurt or offended.
If a specific doll is NOT allowed to be adopted, it
will
be noted as such. Therefore, you may not adopt this doll.
If you want to save it just to look at, fine. Just don't let me
find it on your site! ;)
